How much does a YugX home lift cost?

Accepted Answer

Lift projects start around ₹9.99 lacs for a two-stop installation, and the final figure depends on travel, structure, cabin composition and site conditions. We deliberately don't publish per-model price lists — every home is different, and a generic number would mislead in both directions. Your exact price is confirmed personally after a survey, in writing, before you commit to anything.

Which lift is right for my building — X1 or Y1?

Accepted Answer

X1 is the Home Collection — four expressions (Aria, Halo, Lumi, Nest) for villas, bungalows and duplexes, 350–400 kg. Y1 is the Commercial Collection — Atria for people, Magna for capacity up to 6,500 kg — for buildings that work: apartments, hotels, offices, hospitals, factories. If you're unsure, tell us about the building; recommending the right duty is precisely what the first conversation is for.

Who is MP, and what exactly is their role?

MP — MAC PUAR S.A. — are lift makers from Seville, Spain, manufacturing since 1988, with 165,000+ lifts running in over 100 countries. YugX is MP's exclusive partner for India: the platforms inside every YugX lift are engineered end-to-end by MP, and adapted, installed and cared for by YugX's own teams here.

Is YugX a new company?

Accepted Answer

The brand is new; the company isn't. Our teams have been installing and maintaining lifts in Gujarat since 2008 under the Ostrich name — over 1,600 lifts remain under our care today. YugX is that experience, re-founded around MP's engineering and a design-led standard.

Question 5

Where can I see and try a lift before deciding?

At the YugX Experience Centre in Vadodara — Plot E-89, Savli GIDC, Manjusar — you can ride the lifts, handle every material full-size, and compose your cabin on screen. We also have offices in Bharuch, Ankleshwar and Delhi NCR, or we'll come to you: a home visit is a phone call away.

Do you publish detailed specifications?

Accepted Answer

Yes — every collection page carries its specification table, and the full X1, Y1 and Design catalogues are downloadable from the footer of every page. If it isn't written down, we don't consider it promised.

Do I need a shaft, a pit or a machine room?

Accepted Answer

Often, no. X1 home lifts run in slim self-supporting structures — a shaft where there was none — placed beside a staircase or through a floor cut-out, with a shallow pit and no machine room. Where a masonry shaft exists, we use it. The survey tells you exactly what your site needs, and what it doesn't.

How long does installation take?

Accepted Answer

For a typical X1 home lift on a prepared site — days, not months. Commercial projects vary with travel and building readiness; your written proposal includes the programme. Either way, the site is left clean and the lift is handed over tested, demonstrated and documented.

Can a lift be added to an existing home?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that's what X1's free-standing structures are for. Retrofit is most of what we do in homes: beside the stair, in a corner of the living room, or outside against the facade. Structural work is minimal and the survey confirms feasibility before any commitment.

What about power — will it run on my home supply?

Accepted Answer

YugX home lifts are engineered for residential supplies and are frugal by design — gearless machines, LED lighting, standby modes. The survey confirms your exact electrical requirement; it's rarely the obstacle people expect.

What happens in a power cut?

Accepted Answer

Nobody waits in the dark. Automatic rescue comes as standard: the lift brings itself to a landing and opens the doors. Every YugX lift is also connected to our 24/365 service centre from day one, so we see the event even before a call.

Is a licence or permission required?

Accepted Answer

Lift installations in Gujarat fall under the Gujarat Lifts & Escalators Rules, and requirements vary by building type. YugX handles the documentation with you — drawings, test certificates and the compliance dossier are part of every handover, not an extra.

What does the warranty cover?

Your first year is complimentary cover — twelve months of warranty and scheduled care, on us, from the day of handover. Before it ends, your representative helps you choose a Glide plan so cover continues without a single unprotected day.

What is Glide, and what does an AMC cost?

Accepted Answer

Glide is our Care Collection — four plans, from Glide (the essential, minimum 6 preventive visits a year) to Glide Connect (tailored SLA with IoT monitoring, minimum 12). Every plan's scope is published in full — something no global major will do — and your site's price is shared personally with a one-page contract. What's outside every plan is printed too, so the pricing stays honest.

Who actually services the lift — YugX or a franchisee?

YugX. Our own 70+ factory-trained technicians, on standardised procedures, with genuine parts — no franchisees, no third-party substitutes. The people who built your lift look after it.

How fast do you respond to a breakdown?

Accepted Answer

Entrapment response is 24/365 from our own service centre. And because every lift is connected, we often reach you before a problem does — the building sees availability, not complaints.

Question 17

My lift is from another company. Can you maintain or modernise it?

Accepted Answer

Yes — any make, any age, including lifts we never sold. It starts with a free survey and a written, staged proposal. Six programmes cover everything from safety and energy to aesthetics and connectivity, built on MP's factory-engineered COMBI and SIMBI kits.

Is modernisation always worth it?

Accepted Answer

Honestly — no. Where renewal can't be justified, we'll tell you, and propose a full YugX replacement engineered for the existing shaft instead. The survey exists precisely so you spend on the right answer, not the familiar one.

Question 19

Will the building be without a lift during the works?

Accepted Answer

Modernisation is executed in stages — never all at once — so down-days are minimised and what is sound stays: often the car, rails and shaft itself. The building barely notices the works; it certainly notices the silence afterwards.
