YugX Lifts Private Limited (“YugX”), India’s first design-led elevator and mobility solutions company, today announced a strategic merger of the operating business of Ostrich Elevators Private Limited. This development marks the next phase in YugX’s long-term vision to build a unified, technology-led, pan-India elevator ecosystem, following its strategic partnership agreement signed last year with MP, its global technology and engineering partner for India.

Under this initiative, Ostrich Elevators’ active sales operations, service and maintenance (AMC) portfolio, customer relationships, and execution capabilities will be progressively integrated into YugX’s operating platform. The transition is planned to take effect from 1 April 2026, subject to completion of customary documentation and regulatory processes.

Outlook

All existing projects, AMCs, and customer commitments will continue without disruption. Operational teams and employees will transition into YugX’s platform in a phased and structured manner. Ostrich Elevators will continue to exist as a legal entity during the transition period to conclude legacy obligations. Mr. Piyush Patel will join YugX as a Partner Director and will spearhead the Sales and Market Development of YugX business in India.

YugX will continue to deliver solutions powered by MP’s global technology, engineering expertise, and product systems, localized for Indian market requirements. As part of its next phase of growth, YugX is actively exploring partnerships with franchisees and regional partners who share its vision for design-led, technology-driven vertical mobility solutions across India.
